History Courses

Course Leader and Tutor

I have experience in leading history courses for adult education. My courses do not require prior knowledge of the subject and I aim to make complex topics easy to understand.

Adult education courses typically run for two hours per session over five or ten weeks, or can be offered as a day school. The courses are designed to provide clear learning objectives and to engage and inspire learners to expand their understanding of the past. Courses may be delivered in person or virtually.

Popular courses include:

  • Victorian medicine
  • An Introduction to World War One
  • The Industrial Revolution
  • The Introduction of the Railways in Britain.

I welcome enquiries from educational organisations to design courses on any of my research topic areas.
